"No visit to London is

Patrons at
Simpson's may choose to dine upstairs in more formal Adams or the
oak-paneled dinning room on the main floor. The service upstairs is
pleasantly traditional while the main floor dining area is a bustle of
waiters and knife wielding carvers navigating trolleys of roasted beef and
lamb joynts from table to table. What ever you do - do not miss the Yorkshire
pudding!

"Unmistakably, the home of the power
lunch in London."

With no less than Cesar Ritz in charge of the
hotel and Escoffier master of its kitchens what a start in life the Savoy
enjoyed. In a word, service in the Grill Room is sublime. The food
spectacular. There isn't better Dover sole to be had in Britain.
And, naturally, it's Michelin commended.

Myres
Castle is situated in 44 acres of its own grounds,

in north west Fife. The
castle, set on a rise with panoramic views from the battlements overlooking the
surrounding countryside. The original Myres Castle was a fortress
dating from around 1530. The castle has been extended
throughout the years with the square tower top of grey ashlar added in
1616. This tower top features garlands, shields, initials and, with
a parapet and flagpole, is an impressive addition to the castle.
The
estate called "The Myres" is situated within the parish of

by marriage to Robert, Duke of Albany. However,
in 1425 his son Murdoch, Duke of Albany, forfeited his estates to the
crown. For a long time after 1425 the tenants of Auchtermuchty held their
feu directly from the King, and their rents were accounted for in rolls
of the Royal Exchequer.
